Tom Cruise's latest film Digger looks set to become one of the biggest flops in film history after being forecast to lose $245m (£185m). The Hollywood star, 64, plays wealthy oil tycoon Digger Rockwell , whose company sets off an ecological disaster before being tasked with a mission to save humanity from his own mess. Tom stars opposite Riz Ahmed, Sandra Huller and Jesse Plemons in the new film, and the poor box office performance is of notable contrast to those of his other recent efforts, including the latest instalment of the Top Gun franchise, which grossed more than $1billion worldwide.
